Spellbound can take 28 guests comfortably on board. Our current COVID 19 numbers are 25.
Captain Brian and his crew will pick you up from your wharf of choice and take you on a cruise for about an hour to soak up all that Sydney Harbour has to offer. He will then find a lovely harbour beach for anchoring, so you and your group can enjoy a BBQ and a swim. After a fun lunch, or dinner our Captain will cruise back to your drop off wharf.
Definitely! Our Captain will find you the prettiest and safest harbour beach options taking into consideration all the weather conditions. Spellbound has a Stand-up Paddle board and Aqua Lillypad on board for your use during the cruise.
Absolutely! The majority of our charters are BYO Food, Beverages and Ice. We also offer catered charters if requested. Please ask our booking team for the catering options available. We have a BBQ on board, a large size kitchen upstairs, cutlery, crockery and plenty of freezer space for drinks.
- Bad Weather: Spellbound has a very large saloon and covered outside area to protect guests in the event of rain. We only cancel charters if it is unsafe and that is usually when winds are in excess of 30 knots and considered unsafe for boating. This will be done at the discretion of the Captain on the day. If this happens the client will be given the opportunity to either receive a refund, or reschedule for another date. Rescheduled charters must be used within 6 months of the original booking date.
- Cancellation by the client: If the client cancels the charter within 30 days of the date of the charter, the deposit will be forfeited.
If the charter is cancelled inside 7 days and full payment has been made the whole charter fee, which may include catering, alcohol and wait staff will be forfeited.
If notice of cancellation is 31 days or greater the deposit will be refunded less a 50% booking and administration fee.
All payments for all November – December and public holiday bookings are non-refundable.
We can pick-up and drop-off from a number of different locations throughout the Harbour. Popular choices include Rose Bay, King Street Wharf (Darling Harbour), Woolloomooloo, Rushcutters Bay, Mosman Bay, Lavender Bay and Balmain.
Spellbound has a great sound system on board with surround sound at the front and back of the boat with USB and Bluetooth connectivity.
Spellbound has one electric flush toilet on board. Please note that ONLY the 1 Ply toilet paper supplied should be flushed down the toilet. Because it is a marine toilet any other items disposed of down the toilet will cause the toilet to block. In the event that there is a blockage guests will be responsible for the repair cost to unblock the toilet. Its vital that you inform all your guests before your charter.
No high heels, or black soled shoes are allowed on Spellbound. Flat soled shoes with white soles are allowed on board. Our recommendation would be white soled flat runners for walking around the vessel, or preferably bare feet.
Safety on Spellbound is extremely important to us for the safety of our guests, staff and the boat. We follow the Responsible Service of Alcohol, which refers to the consumption of alcoholic products that minimises the potential harm that may be caused by alcoholic consumption to themselves and the staff on board the vessel. Alcohol cannot be consumed on board Spellbound without sufficient food.
As a commercial vessel we operate with an approved Safety and Management System (SMS).
